Can you help me dispose of my old washing machine and dryer?

Sure, we can help with that! We dispose of old washing machines and dryers for an additional $20 per appliance.

Why is my washing machine vibrating harshly?

The most common cause is when the washing machine isn’t level on the ground. To fix this, use a bubble level to check if the machine is level. If it’s not, adjust the legs to make it level. Another possible reason is that the shipping bolts were not removed. Kyson front-loader washing machines use a suspension system to support the washtub while it agitates and spins. The system isn’t designed to handle the strain of moving, so shipping bolts are used to secure the tub and reduce vibration during transportation. It's important to remove all shipping bolts from the back of the unit before installation; otherwise, the suspension system won’t work properly.

Why is my drainage blocked?

If the drainage is blocked by a foreign object, it is considered an abnormal situation and should be addressed immediately. If the drainage pump is functioning normally, it is recommended to clean it once a month to ensure smooth drainage and keep clothes clean.

To clean the drainage pump, open the decorative cover on the lower right side of the machine, unscrew the filter, clean it, and then put it back in place. It’s recommended to place small items or delicates (like underwear, pants with zippers, bedding, table linens, bras, hosiery, lingerie, washable wool and lace, and embellished or embroidered pieces) into a laundry bag before placing them in the washing machine. This helps protect both your laundry and the washing machine, contributing to a longer lifespan for both.

How long is the quick wash cycle, and when should it be used?

The quick wash cycle, which lasts for 15 minutes, is the minimum time required for one wash and one rinse. Any time shorter than this will not achieve the desired washing effect. This cycle is suitable for a small amount of clothes or towels that are not too dirty. For dehydration and drying, 800 rpm is sufficient, but it is not recommended for washing large loads or heavy clothing.

What is "smart washing" and how does it work?

Smart washing refers to the washing machine intelligently adjusting the water level and washing time based on the weight of the clothes. It is normal for drum washing machines to take longer than 1 hour for a wash cycle.

What should I do if I get an E03 drainage timeout error?

The E03 error code indicates that the washing machine is having trouble draining water. This issue can be caused by several factors, such as a blocked pump filter, a kinked drain hose, or a malfunctioning drain pump. To resolve it:

  • Check the Pump Filter: Locate and clean the pump filter, as blockages here are often the cause of drainage problems.
  • Examine the Drain Hose: Make sure the drain hose isn’t kinked or blocked, as this can obstruct water flow.
  • Perform a Reset: Sometimes a reset can clear the error. Turn off the washing machine, wait a few minutes, and then turn it back on.

What should I do if my laundry pod is stuck in the dispenser?

If your laundry pod is stuck in the dispenser, it’s because most detergent dispensers aren’t designed for pods, which require a significant amount of water to dissolve. Placing the pod in the dispenser can cause a clog and result in clothes not being cleaned properly. To avoid this, always place laundry pods directly in the drum, not in the dispenser. You can contact us, and we’ll come to unclog it for you. However, please note that we will not be providing this service a second time, and if it happens again, your warranty might be voided.

Is anything bad going to happen if I accidentally put way too much detergent in the washer?

If you accidentally use more detergent than recommended, it won’t fully rinse out from your clothes or the washer. The excess detergent will accumulate in both the clothes and the machine. Over time, this can lead to a musty smell in your clothes and the washer, and your clothes may appear dull. You might even develop an itchy rash from the detergent buildup. If you've ever pulled stiff, starchy laundry from the dryer, it’s likely due to using too much detergent. Excess detergent can also cause build-up that clogs hoses and valves, preventing proper water drainage. Following the detergent manufacturer’s instructions is important to avoid this. In the long run, the excess detergent can create a damp environment where mold, mildew, and bacteria thrive, potentially leading to growth on rubber gaskets and foul odors. In severe cases, it can cause drainage issues and permanent damage to your washing machine.
