Nereos Lux + K4
FAQ
Is installation free, and who handles it?
Yes – complimentary installation is provided with every purchase of the Nereos purifier. A trained technician will set up the unit, connect it to your water supply, and perform an initial flush of the filters. They will also provide a basic demonstration to ensure you know how to use it.
Note: We do not cover modifications to your main water inlet; that must already be in place. Our service involves tapping into an existing tap/faucet line.
How long does installation take?
Typically about1 hour, including setup, connection, testing, and a brief usage overview.
Is drilling required?
your consentbefore drilling a small hole (about 1/4 inch). The process is neat, quick, and will not compromise your countertop’s structural integrity.
What if I move homes later?
The purifier isnot permanently fixed, so you can relocate it. If you wish, our technicians can uninstall and reinstall it for you at your new address (a service fee may apply). Remember to update your warranty registration details as well.
What is the warranty period?
Your Nereos purifier is covered by a standard 2-year warranty, which includes onsite service for manufacturing defects under normal usage conditions.
What does the warranty cover?
- Parts and labor for any mechanical or electrical defects.
- Onsite service: If an issue can’t be resolved remotely, a technician visits your location to repair or replace faulty components.
Note: Consumable filters, accidental damage, or misuse are not covered.
Is there a lifetime parts warranty?
No, we do not offer a lifetime parts warranty. However, our comprehensive 2-year warranty will cover all manufacturing-related issues during that period.
How do I claim warranty service?
Simply contact our customer support (phone or email) with your proof of purchase. Once verified, we’ll schedule an onsite service if necessary. Make sure to register your product online or via the warranty card, so we have your details on file.
Maintenance & Care
How often should I replace the filters?
Plan on changing filters every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and water quality. Pre-filters may require more frequent replacement (~6 months), while advanced filters can last up to a year. Follow the user manual’s specific guidelines.
Can I change the filters myself?
Yes. The Nereos filter cartridges are designed for easy DIY replacement—often a twist-and-lock or push-in design. After installing new filters, flush the system to clear residual carbon dust. If you’d rather have a technician do it, a service fee may apply outside of warranty coverage.
Does it need regular cleaning?
Minimal routine care is needed thanks to its tankless design:
- Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth.
- Empty and rinse the drip tray.
- Periodically clean the dispensing nozzle.
No additional servicing is usually required unless a specific issue arises.
Is it energy-intensive?
No, it’s engineered for energy efficiency. The hot water heats instantly only when needed, and the cold water uses a semiconductor cooling system with low standby power usage.
Should I power it off if I’m away?
For short trips, you can leave it plugged in and just flush some water upon return. For extended periods (weeks or months), switch off the unit and shut the water valve. When you reactivate it, flush out any stale water and consider changing filters if they’re near end-of-life.
Product Features & Technical Details
What temperatures does it dispense?
- Hot: Up to ~95°C for coffee, tea, noodles.
- Warm: Several warm settings (e.g., ~45–65°C) for formula or mild drinks.
- Cold: ~5–10°C using semiconductor cooling.
- Ambient: Straight, room-temperature filtered water.
Is there a child-safety lock for hot water?
Yes. The purifier includes a safety lock feature to prevent accidental dispensing of hot water.
Does it have a Safety Mark?
Yes. The Safety Mark number is 250357-12, confirming its compliance with Singapore’s electrical safety standards.
What kind of piping is used for hot water?
We use Stainless Steel 304 internal piping for the hot water flow, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.
What are the filtration stages?
A 5-stage system:
- Sediment Filter – Removes rust, dust, and larger particles.
- Pre-Carbon Filter – Absorbs chlorine and organic chemicals, improving taste and odor.
- Ultra Nano+ or Equivalent – Blocks bacteria and microscopic impurities (~0.001 microns).
- Mineral Filter – Reintroduces beneficial minerals for healthier, tastier water.
- Post-Carbon Filter – Polishes water to remove any lingering odors or by-products.
How does Micro Radiance Technology benefit me?
Micro Radiance Technology provides:
1-second heat-up: Eliminates the 3–5 second delay found in older tankless models.
- Fast flow rate: Water doesn’t trickle slowly, reducing wait time.
- Minimal temperature loss: Only ~2–3°C drop from dispenser to cup, ensuring more consistent hot water.
Micro Radiance Technology is an intelligent system built into the Nereos purifier that learns your daily water-drinking habits and adapts automatically. For example, if you always make a 95°C coffee at 7 AM, the purifier will pre-heat in advance to deliver hot water instantly at that time. If you like a cold drink in the evening, it can adjust its cooling cycle accordingly. All of this happens in the background, so you barely notice—except that you get your water at the perfect temperature every time, with minimal waiting. Over a few weeks, the system becomes “smarter” about anticipating your preferences, saving energy and time, and turning your purifier into a personalized, user-friendly appliance that fits seamlessly into your routine.
